Anonymous asked: I don't think he has. He said he didn't want anything to do with them. Which I can understand, but they just butcher the movies so horribly, and it causes me emotional distress to watch them because I've read the books so many times. I mean, they couldn't even get his name right!~ The Mysterious Anon
I disagree with Annabeth’s casting so much, I can’t even. The only thing that makes me happy about those movies is Grover.
What really teed me off where the tiny things they changed that didn’t need to be changed. Especially the premise in the first movie about the gods being forbidden to visit their children. I hated that because it took away Luke’s justification for being angry.
They’re only forbidden direct involvement in conflicts, which is why they have demi-gods. They didn’t bother with normal interaction because they’re flippant. The movie gave them an excuse, a rule to hide behind and that’s bull.
*sigh* I could rant for days.
Anonymous asked: Yes, I find Logan Lerman very attractive, but it doesn't fit right to me. I kind of wish Rick took part in the movies and was as picky as JK was with Harry Potter. The movies would actually be enjoyable to me if they actually followed the books.~ The Mysterious Anon
I agree! I think RR said he hasn’t even watched the movies.
I had intended to post this Monday, but then life decided to be generally unpleasant, and I came down with the beginnings of a cold, which I’m still recovering from. So here is Day 1 of Wife of Bath’s academic adventures in Florence.
So much beautiful art! And yay Perseus!
